7formation helps with warehouse savings of over £20,000 a year

7formation recently completed an energy efficient lighting replacement scheme for a commercial warehouse that resulted in projected energy bill savings of nearly £21,000 a year.

The warehouse in question had rows of racking and open areas. The racking only needed to be lit when any forklift trucks or personnel entered the area. So lights with individual movement sensors were fitted. The open areas were replaced with special high powered energy efficient lights which used less electricity than the existing lights. These lights had special reflectors to ensure correct lux levels were still achieved.
