Phil Mitchell returns to shopfitting

Phil Mitchell's previous experience and passion for the building trade is one of the driving forces behind 7formation... Having spent most of his life on the road working in one town or another for the last 25 years, Phil decided that when the time was right, he would go back into the shop fitting industry but only if he had something different to offer. Phil started out in the building industry as a carpenter and had his own business by the time he was 22 years old. This was just a small town building business, man in van, typical of what most towns have to service their local communities. However, he soon realised that - with the growth of the chain store - he had to offer a national service and so began his shop fitting career. In 2005, he left the industry to concentrate on other things although his real passion for the building trade never left him.
